BUYER TERMS

Terms for ticket buyers

Version buyer-terms-2026-09-04 · Last updated 4 September 2026

These terms apply when you use amatix to discover an event, register, or buy a ticket. The operator of the platform is Vitalii Zharkovskyi, a sole trader trading as amatix, Central House, 407 Nether Street, Finchley Central, London N3 1QG, United Kingdom. Contact support@amatix.co.

Who supplies your event

The organiser named on the event page is the supplier of the event and your contracting party for admission and event performance. amatix supplies ticketing technology and acts as an intermediary; it is not the event organiser, promoter, venue operator, performer, security provider or guarantor. The organiser controls the event description, price, inventory, restrictions, venue, programme, rescheduling, cancellation and delivery.

Ordering, prices and payment

You must actively accept the version of these Buyer Terms shown at checkout. We record that version and the acceptance time with the order; we do not collect an IP address or browser user-agent for this evidence.

Before checkout, we show the ticket price, each mandatory buyer-facing booking fee and the complete total. Paid orders are processed by Stripe. amatix technically facilitates checkout and sends trusted order and payment instructions to Stripe; amatix does not collect card details itself. On Stripe’s final payment screen, the button that confirms payment creates an obligation to pay. Free registrations do not create a payment obligation.

Availability, eligibility and prices are rechecked by our server when an order is created. Browser-submitted amounts are not trusted. An order is not confirmed merely because you reach a confirmation page; paid tickets are issued only after authoritative payment confirmation.

Tickets and your responsibilities

Provide accurate delivery information, keep ticket and recovery links private, follow lawful event and venue rules, and meet displayed age, identification and eligibility requirements. Do not copy, fraudulently use or resell a ticket contrary to law or the organiser’s disclosed rules. Check event information and reasonable updates before attending.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

Tickets for leisure activities on a specified date or period generally do not carry the ordinary 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Voluntary non-attendance is refundable only where the organiser’s displayed policy or applicable law provides it.

If the organiser cancels the event, you are entitled to a refund of the full amount paid through amatix for the affected order, including mandatory buyer-facing fees. If the date, venue, headline event or an equivalent central feature changes materially, the ticket remains valid for the replacement event, but a buyer who rejects the material change should be offered the same full refund. Minor timetable, supporting-act or comparable non-substantial changes are not automatically material.

The organiser is responsible for the cancellation or material change and for funding the refund, including platform and payment-processing costs allocated to it under the organiser agreement. amatix may facilitate the refund through Stripe. A request is not an approval, and an approval is not confirmation that funds have arrived. See the Refund Policy; neither it nor an organiser policy limits statutory rights.

Responsibility and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser is responsible for organiser-controlled matters, including the event’s existence, legality, accuracy, quality, venue, safety, accessibility, staffing, performers, permits, insurance, admission decisions, changes and attendee communications. amatix remains responsible for its own platform, data-protection, security, contractual and statutory duties.

Neither party is responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, where the law permits that exclusion. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by negligence; or any liability or statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom you retain any right under applicable law to bring proceedings in that part of the United Kingdom. Contact support@amatix.co first so we can try to resolve a platform issue.
